Responsibilities
  • Ensure the dining room looks and stays pristine; manage front-of-house service to residents.
  • Greet residents, make them feel welcome, mingle, entertain, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
  • Prep tables, salads, and rolling silverware to support a successful meal service.
  • Assist with bussing tables, sweeping floors, and maintaining tidiness.
  • Communicate with supervisors and wellness staff about poor dietary habits or changes in appetite among residents.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.
  • Knowledge of care and supervision requirements appropriate to residents.
  • Maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
  • Read, write, and communicate in English at least 8th grade proficiency.
  • Positive, energetic attitude and love for residents.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and fall assistance.
  • Criminally cleared.
  • Physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks; health screening within 6 months and TB test free at screening.
