We source locally and tailor orders to dietary needs with healthy hummus, shawarma, pita, complimentary sauces, and signature cocktails. Meddys now operates 5 Wichita, KS locations and 4 in the Kansas City metro area, and we expanded to Tulsa, OKC, Omaha, Salina, and Moore this year.

General Responsibilities- Handle food and beverage safely to prevent illnesses.
- Apply in‑house standards to increase guest satisfaction and team efficiency.
- Deliver orders, bus tables, and provide drink refills in a cyclical pattern.
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby, restrooms, patio, tables, bar, and expo area.
- Explain complimentary pita bread to every dine‑in guest.
- Ensure food meets taste, temperature, aesthetic, and portion standards.
- Prioritize and double‑check orders to fulfill them timely.
- Deliver exemplary counter service and identify guest needs.
- Welcome guests at entry and bid farewell upon departure.
- Promote a culture of excellence, growth, and candor while making exceptions for guests.
- Hold yourself and coworkers accountable with integrity and empathy.
- Process cash and credit sales responsibly, ensuring accuracy.
- Stay aware of surroundings to keep coworkers safe.
- Keep managers informed of any need‑to‑know information.
- Help others when tasks exceed your shift responsibilities.
- If bartending, serve in accordance with Alcoholic Beverage Control Guidelines.
- Introduce trainees, provide a tour, and ensure they have training materials.
- Demonstrate proper methods, supervise trainees, provide feedback, and repeat until proficiency is achieved.
- Delegate tasks to front‑of‑house employees to ensure each shift has focus.
- Perform closing duties and properly secure the restaurant after operating hours.
- Monitor hourly labor percentages to minimize costs and maximize service.
- Read reviews and reach out to guests to identify constraints and resolve service disparities.
- Prevent misreporting of clock in/out times, ensuring fair compensation.
- Apply protected category guidelines to all employees.
- Submit End‑of‑Day Deposit accurately according to policies.
- Audit credit card bar tips and receipts.
- Consistently work 50 hours a week.
- Available to work nights and weekends.
- Reliable transportation; travel to all locations in the region if necessary.
- Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Work on feet for 10+ hour shifts.
- Customer service experience.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Leadership and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Food Safety Laws.
- 2+ years of customer service experience or more.
- Higher education, certifications, or degree.
- Aloha POS system experience.
