- Handle food and beverages following food‑safety standards.
- Follow in‑house standards to increase customer satisfaction and team efficiency.
- Deliver orders to guests and bus tables in a cyclical pattern.
- Provide drink refills and table service to prevent interruption of meals.
- Maintain cleanliness of the lobby, restrooms, patio, tables, bar, and expo area.
- Deliver complimentary pita bread to every dine‑in guest.
- Ensure food meets taste, temperature, aesthetic, and portion standards.
- Fulfill orders in a timely manner by prioritizing and double‑checking.
- Deliver exemplary customer service at the ordering counter and identify guest needs.
- Greet guests with “Welcome to Meddys” and give a friendly farewell.
- Promote a culture of excellence, growth, and candor.
- Make exceptions for guests when appropriate.
- Hold coworkers accountable with integrity and empathy.
- Perform cash and credit sales responsibly, minimizing errors.
- Stay aware of surroundings and ensure coworker safety.
- Keep managers informed of vital information.
- Support team members during shift coverage when needed.
- When bartending, serve in accordance with Alcoholic Beverage Control guidelines.
- Available to work nights and weekends.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between store locations if required.
- Clean and professional appearance.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
- Consistently able to access online scheduling software and communicate with store managers.
- Knowledge of Food Safety Laws.
- Minimum one year of customer service experience.
- Experience with Aloha POS system.
