Boeing Global Services (BGS), Distribution Business, is looking for an Entry Level Quality Inspector to join our team in Wichita, KS
.

Position Responsibilities
  • Conducts dimensional and visual inspections.

  • Proofreads paperwork for traceability for part number, lot number accuracy and test requirements.

  • Conduct visual inspections for obvious defects.

  • Scanning of certifications, packing slips, test reports and pertinent documents associated with the item being received.

  • Review and disposition all certification documentation to meet traceability requirements per AS9100 and company standards. Disposition and control on non-conforming products.

  • Assist in internal, customer and third-party audits. Identify and communicate opportunities to increase inspector productivity.

  • Assist with the on-hold process.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 0 - 1 year of related work experience.

  • Familiar with the use of calipers, ring/pin gauges, comparator, and other inspection tooling.

  • Knowledge and understanding of traceability.

  • Fluent in English, reading, writing and verbal communication.

  • Detail oriented, well organized, self-motivated and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and use of office equipment and computers.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.

This role requires passing a documented color and near vision exam

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Previous aerospace inspection experience.

  • Ability to read blueprints.

  • Knowledge of AS9100 requirements.

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.

  • Understanding of Six Sigma / team concepts.

  • DFAR Experience
