We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer (QE) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control and assurance processes throughout the product development and manufacturing lifecycle. Your focus will be on ensuring our products and processes meet rigorous standards of safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Create and document quality standards, inspection procedures, control plans, and test methodologies.
- Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and vendors. Conduct audits and assessments to ensure incoming materials meet specifications.
- Perform audits, inspections, and process validations to monitor production activities, ensure adherence to specifications, and identify potential non-conformances.
- Lead the identification, documentation, tracking (using tools like CAPA), and resolution of product defects, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
- Analyze customer feedback and warranty data to identify trends and drive improvements in product design and manufacturing processes.
- Collect and analyze quality data (e.g., defect rates, scrap, process capability) to identify root causes and present actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all products and processes comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal quality management systems.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and lead cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions, enhancing overall product quality and process efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance, or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven knowledge of quality engineering principles, statistical process control (SPC), and metrology.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8D) and corrective action processes.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, GD&T, and using measurement tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
