Quality Manager

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring manufactured products meet the established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance set by Chance Rides, LLC, customer specifications, and industry standards. The Quality Manager typically performs the duties listed below but is not limited to them.

• Provide high energy leadership of, and mentorship for, quality team members while building a collaborative relationship with other departments.
• Manage the implementation of the quality management system.
• Ownership of the Quality Manual and related policies and procedures.
• Manage and maintain required documentation for quality records.
• Audit and assist training shop personnel and vendors ensuring work is being performed and documented to requirements.
• Manage the quality team, conduct annual performance reviews, and promote continuous improvement.
• Oversee the inspection of incoming vendor components and internally manufactured parts.
• Disposition rejected parts (NCMR) and document corrective action (CAR) in ERP system.
• Review and approve Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for finished rides.
• Follow industry and government regulations concerning amusement ride manufacturing.
• Work with state inspectors and ride safety officials to maintain required documentation of Chance built amusement rides.
• Develop and track key quality performance metrics and processes.
• Identify and implement productivity projects offsetting inflationary pressures.
