• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — night shift labor and delivery nurse role
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,730 - $1,820
• Self-Scheduling: Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance for travel nurses

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Kansas license or compact state RN license accepted
• Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience (L&D RN, OB RN)
• Required experience circulating C-sections and assisting in operative deliveries
• High-risk Labor & Delivery and perinatal nursing experience preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Familiarity with maternal-newborn equipment and EMR systems preferred

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring mothers, postpartum patients, and newborns
• Circulate and assist with C-sections, obstetric procedures, and emergency maternal/newborn interventions
• Continuous fetal and maternal monitoring using Monica Novii telemetry, GE monitors, and other advanced equipment
• Manage infusion therapy with Alaris pumps and PCA pumps
• Document care accurately in CPN Gold and Meditech EMR systems
• Collaborate with OB hospitalists, anesthesia, nursing colleagues, and the multidisciplinary care team
• Educate and support patients and families through labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Promote a positive, team-oriented nursing environment and participate in quality improvement efforts
