Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care Med/Surg position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a valid KS or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in a 50-bed general Med/Surg, telemetry, and observation stepdown/intermediate care unit
- Day shift: 07:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Provides nursing care to general medical/surgical, telemetry, and observation patients in a stepdown/intermediate care setting
- Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible only at a reduced pay rate
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- MOAB De-Escalation Training (Moderate Risk) required
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
