Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Intermediate Care position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Wichita, KS, requiring a KS or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities- 52-bed general Med/Surg and observation unit functioning as a Stepdown/Intermediate Care unit
- Located at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Day shift: 07:00–19:30
- 13-week contract
- Cerner EHR in use
- Ceil blue scrubs required
- Local candidates are accepted; a radius rule applies and may affect pay rate eligibility
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
- Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required
- US Social Security Number required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
