RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Travel assignment position

• Work on 37-bed telemetry unit located on 3rd floor

• Patient ratios: 1:6 general telemetry patients, 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated ratios, not guaranteed)

• Work with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes

• Use Meditech EMR system

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• Perform typical procedures including central lines and medication drips

• Handle Heart Cath recovery and bubble studies

• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills

• Work alongside experienced nursing staff including 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs per night shift
