Registered Nurse - Oncology

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Oncology to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing cancer treatment, including administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with oncology treatment plans.
• Monitor and assess patient health status throughout treatment.
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed (if certified).
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in an oncology setting is highly preferred.

• Chemotherapy Certification (Chemo Certified)
• Prior experience in administering chemotherapy.
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) membership is a plus.
