Pediatric Float Nurse in Wichita, KS

Overview

We are passionate about helping kids thrive at home and are looking for a Float Nurse who shares our passion to help support a variety of kids throughout the Wichita metro area, even help transition medically-fragile children from the in-patient to home setting.

• Location: Wichita and Surrounding Area (travel to 30-50 miles outside of Wichita)
• Schedule: Full Time Days, Nights, and Weekends
• Shift: Flexible to work avariety of days and shifts around the Wichita metro area, to support the unique needs of patients transitioning to the home setting. When possible, schedules will be created 2 weeks in advance.
• This position will also support a patient and family as they transition to the home setting for the first time, after a hospitalization or new diagnosis/technology. Ensuring the journey from hospital to home is a smooth process, starting in the hospital with bedside training to being settled at home and ready to hand off cares to the family and long-term nursing team.
  
  The Float Nurse helps the patient and family be comfortable and confident at home after discharge.

• Must be a LPN or RN licensed in good standing with Kansas state board of nursing.
