Pay Rate: $23.40/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1162.00 ($413.00 Weekly Meal + $749.00 Weekly Lodging)
Gross Weekly Pay: $2004.00
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit: Medical/Surgical
Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM
Submission Requirements: Must live more than 60 miles from the facility
Unit Description:
The Medical/Surgical unit is a 39-bed Orthopedic/Spine Surgery and Trauma Department with a Total Joint Replacement program for total hips and knees. Other surgeries frequently seen include foot/ankle surgeries, amputations, total shoulder replacements, and back/spine surgeries. The unit is a Level 1 trauma center, treating complex ortho-trauma patients with multi-complex fractures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans

Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification (preferred)
- 2 years of recent experience in a Medical/Surgical setting
