The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Wichita, Kansas is currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse for their Intensive Care Unit.
DutiesThe staff nurse provides care that compensates for or assists in meeting the health-related self-care deficits of the Veteran patient. The care provided will result in: a) meeting of existent/emerging self-care demands, and/or b) enhancing or developing self-care. Continuing care needs will be identified and addressed. The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) consists of a 12 bed ICU. The unit is open 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.
RequirementsNOTE: Prior to accepting a final employment offer, all selected applicants will be required to sign a Memorandum of Understanding regarding deployment responsibilities.
