Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with BLS certification for a night shift Med/Surg position on an Ortho Neuro unit.
Responsibilities- Work in the Ortho Neuro Nursing Unit of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes orthopedic and neurological medical/surgical cases
- Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30
- Every other weekend shift required
- No on-call responsibilities during the assignment
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients with orthopedic and neurological needs
- All candidates must adhere to facility radius rules, with locals eligible at a reduced rate
- Holiday coverage may be expected during the assignment
- US driver’s license required for consideration
- COVID vaccination is not required
- Candidates may only accept one position within the health system at a time
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Nursys verification and primary source license verification within 30 days prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and MOAB De-Escalation Training preferred
- Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
