We are seeking Nurse Practitioners (NP) to join our team at VA Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, in a full-time or locum tenens capacity.
Minimum Qualifications:- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Currently registered with the Kansas State Board of Nursing
- At least one year of recent experience in a relevant clinical area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Perform independent assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses and trauma
- Manage chronic health conditions
- Perform physical exams, administer immunizations, prescribe medications, and provide patient counseling
- Order and interpret lab tests, X-rays, ECGs, etc.
