McCurdy Real Estate & Auction is seeking an entry-level Social Media & Content Coordinator to help bring our brand, properties, and campaigns to life across digital channels. This role is perfect for a creative, organized self-starter who loves writing, social media, and turning ideas into engaging content.
You'll play a key role in managing our social presence, creating content that supports our marketing campaigns and auctions, and collaborating with a talented in-house marketing team. This position offers hands-on experience, clear direction, and mentorship, with opportunities to grow your skills in content planning and strategy over time.
This role will begin part-time (approximately 30 hours per week) with the potential to grow as the role and business evolves.
ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
- Create, schedule, and manage content across Facebook, X, Instagram, Linked In, and Tik Tok
- Write engaging, on-brand captions and short-form copy
- Assist in planning and scripting videos for reels and short-form videos for auctions and content
- Maintain an organized social media content calendar aligned with auction and campaign timelines
- Monitor engagement and assist with basic reporting and insights
Content Creation
- Generate ideas and write copy for both short form (videos, social media, emails) and long form content (blogs, brochures)
- Collaborate with the marketing team to bring content ideas to life
- Create institutional emails on a quarterly basis to support brand awareness campaigns
- Assist with content planning tied to marketing funnels and campaigns
- Learn content strategy fundamentals with the opportunity to take on more responsibility over time
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience managing or creating content for social media platforms
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a task list and meet deadlines
- Creative thinker who enjoys collaboration
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or In Design
- Graphic design skills
- Videography or video editing experience
- SEO or blog optimization experience
- Part-time in-office (~30 hours per week)
