Fabrication Shop Manager – Aluminum Storefront & Curtain wall
Hopper’s Glass is seeking an experienced fabrication shop manager to lead our aluminum storefront, door, and curtain wall fabrication operations. We are a well‑established commercial glazing contractor with a reputation for quality craftsmanship and reliable project delivery.

Responsibilities- Manage daily operations of the fabrication shop
- Supervise 3‑6 shop personnel and coordinate work assignments
- Plan fabrication schedules to meet project deadlines
- Maintain quality control for aluminum storefront, doors, and curtain wall systems
- Coordinate with project managers to support field installation schedules
- Monitor shop productivity, materials usage, and workflow
- Maintain a safe and organized shop environment
- Assist with training and development of fabrication staff
Applicants should meet one of the following experience requirements:
- 4+ years of experience managing or supervising a fabrication or manufacturing shop
- 6+ years of hands‑on experience working in a fabrication or manufacturing environment with demonstrated leadership ability
Additional preferred experience:
- Aluminum storefront, curtain wall, or architectural metals
- Reading shop drawings and fabrication details
- Production planning or shop scheduling
- Leading and mentoring fabrication teams
$70k – $85k based on experience
