Aircraft Painter

Job Duties:

• Shoot primers and top coats to Mil specs on multiple surface types
• Preparation of parts prior to painting including masking, sanding, and cleaning
• Complete workflow documentation thoroughly and properly as requires
• Inspection:
  Knowledge of the expected response and appearance of the material being painted
• Clean and repair paint equipment
• Touch-up parts as needed
• Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times
• Keep work area clean

• Mix paints per manufactures specs
• Preparation of parts prior to painting including masking, sanding, and cleaning
• Complete workflow documentation thoroughly and properly as requires
• Inspection:

• Touch-up parts as needed
• Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all time
• Keep work area clean

• 3+ years’ experience with application of primer, fuel cell, and top coat
• Dependable, team-oriented, and good communication skills
• Previous experience in aerospace painting environment preferred
• Must be self-motivated and produce quality work
• Excellent attendance and positive attitude is required
• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Some overtime and flexible work hours may be necessary
• Ability to regularly and frequently lift 50 pounds
• Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders.
• Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment.
• Exposure to hot and cold work environments.

First Shift;
Mon.

- Fri., 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (1 opening)

Second Shift;
Mon.

- Fri., 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.(1 opening)

Third Shift;
Mon - Fri., 10:00 p.m.

- 6:30 a.m.

$22 to $25/HR.
