Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

To analyze, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions on a wide variety of CNC machinery and misc. facility equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair a wide variety of CNC machinery and misc. facility equipment. Mechanic must be able to apply hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical expertise and troubleshooting aptitude to maximize equipment uptime.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on equipment and report findings regarding additional work and repairs to leadership.
- Coordinate and/or perform assigned work. Work with contractors and other maintenance personnel, if necessary, to ensure repairs are made properly and with minimum impact on operations.
- Maintain open communications with supervision and customer department personnel. Document all activities and departmental procedural requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience- High school diploma preferred; formal technical training is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year documented experience in a maintenance skilled trade related to the intended assignment maintenance experience, or apprenticeship, in a related additional applicable trade or skill set.

- Ability to read and write the English language.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Manufacturing environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust, grime and heat. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
