Overview
Waterjet Operator — 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Friday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
Job DescriptionResponsible for the operation of CNC equipment, including waterjet and milling machines.
Job Responsibilities- Load materials
- Use a computer to select and run appropriate programs
- Monitor CNC machine operation
- Read and understand verbal and written work orders
- Follow detailed instructions
- Communicate questions and suggestions to supervisor
- Follow safety requirements
- Perform 5S requirements for work area
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor
- Promote a positive team environment
- Be dependable
- Other duties as assigned
- Hand/finger dexterity
- Visual acuity
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull heavy materials - 50 LBS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time in an area with limited climate control
- Forklift experience required
- Prefer machine shop skills and general computer familiarity
- Preference given to those with 3-Axis and 5-Axis CNC machinist experience
