Material Handler
A typical day in this position involves cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, operating a saw, and working with computer systems. The utmost priority is safety, and this value is emphasized at all times.
Responsibilities- Operate a forklift efficiently and safely.
- Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Utilize computer systems for various tasks.
- Operate saws and other machinery as required.
- Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Proficiency in forklift operation.
- Experience in a warehouse setting.
- Strong material handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and math skills, including reading measurements.
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse and production, particularly in a metals or manufacturing facility.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and perform order picking.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.20 - $20.20/hr.
