PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire an experienced CNC Programmer who is passionate about precision, performance, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will play a critical part in transforming engineering designs into high-quality, flight-ready components that meet the rigorous standards of the aviation industry.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

As a CNC Programmer, your expertise will directly support production efficiency and product quality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programming a variety of CNC manufacturing equipment, including 3- and 5-axis machines, CNC lathes, and routers
  • Using CAD/CAM systems to convert engineering drawings and change orders into accurate machine G-code
  • Implementing program changes and entering new specifications while ensuring correct revision control
  • Programming future jobs while machines are running to maximize production efficiency
  • Completing all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Inspecting and evaluating production parts to ensure compliance with blueprint specifications
  • Designing, building, and repairing basic mechanical or specialty equipment, jigs, and fixtures as needed
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment and machinery
Required Qualifications
  • Five years of CAD/CAM programming experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Knowledge of CNC machines, tools, and their design, use, repair, and maintenance
  • Understanding of safe working practices in a manufacturing setting
  • Ability to interpret written technical information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience programming complex 3- and 5-axis machining operations
  • Background in aviation or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
  • Experience designing or modifying fixtures and tooling

Pay Details: $45.84 per hour
