Position: CNC Programmer
- Wichita, KS

Job Description & Requirements:

• Program various CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as 3 and 5 axis cutting, CNC Lathe and router programming to form or shape manufactured parts from raw materials.
• Use CAD/CAM programming system to convert engineering drawing and change orders into machine G Code format.
• Implement changes to machine programs and enter new specifications. Program future jobs while machines are operating and ensure the current revision level is accurate.
• Completes all necessary documentation and follow up as required in a timely, orderly manner.
• Responsible for a variety of tasks involving inspecting, evaluating of production parts to blueprint specification.
• May design, build and repair a broad variety of basic mechanical and/or specialty equipment and jigs and fixtures.
• May perform preventive maintenance responsibilities for assigned departmental equipment/machinery to include corrective maintenance as required.

• 3 years minimum of CAD/CAM programming experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Requires great attention to detail and the ability to read drawings and specifications (GDT).
• Good written and oral communication.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of safe working practices.
• Ability to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
