Position: NDT Level 2 New Wichita, Kansas, United States

Position Summary

NDT Level 2 processes parts, evaluates and interprets results, documents results, and performs equipment verification checks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carry out the necessary preparation of parts before and after the inspection.
  • Evaluate and interpret parts for acceptance/rejection criteria.
  • Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards.
  • Guide and supervise trainees and Level 1 personnel.
  • Stay current on the codes, standards, and contractual documents relating to the NDT processes performed at Premier Processing.
  • Perform internal audits of Penetrant Process.
  • Other duties may be assigned as requested by the supervisor.
Position Requirement PHYSICAL / NON-PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Lift parts, equipment, and tools up to 50lbs.
  • Work non‑traditional hours, such as overtime, weekends and holidays.
  • May require long periods of sitting and standing.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Reliable and responsible.
  • Attention to detail as well as work efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • NDT-Level II Certification required.
  • Minimum 400 hours experience in Liquid Penetrant Inspection.
