NDT Level 2 processes parts, evaluates and interprets results, documents results, and performs equipment verification checks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Carry out the necessary preparation of parts before and after the inspection.
- Evaluate and interpret parts for acceptance/rejection criteria.
- Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standards.
- Guide and supervise trainees and Level 1 personnel.
- Stay current on the codes, standards, and contractual documents relating to the NDT processes performed at Premier Processing.
- Perform internal audits of Penetrant Process.
- Other duties may be assigned as requested by the supervisor.
- Lift parts, equipment, and tools up to 50lbs.
- Work non‑traditional hours, such as overtime, weekends and holidays.
- May require long periods of sitting and standing.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methods.
- Basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Reliable and responsible.
- Attention to detail as well as work efficiently.
- NDT-Level II Certification required.
- Minimum 400 hours experience in Liquid Penetrant Inspection.
