Air parts manufacturer is seeking an Assembly Sealer.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plans and performs a variety of certified sealing repair and rework operations.
- Performs pressure leak tests to determine areas requiring rework and repair. Uses ammonia, water manometer, soap solution and specialized leak detector machines as required.
- Uses manual dexterity and close mental and visual attention according to accepted shop procedures to apply sealer, rework and repair areas which may have been previously fueled.
- Compliance with standard fuel safety precautions is required.
- Through knowledge of inspection standards, sheet metal assembly and sealing techniques provide proper sealing and assembly sequences to prevent leaks and failure of parts to meet specifications. Determines if sealer is properly cured and assures repairs are adequate prior to refueling aircraft.
- Uses a variety of hand and power tools, sealing applicators and pressure or leak test equipment.
- Responsible only for own work.
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Fri., 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (two - assembly sealer)

Shift: Mon.
- Thurs., 3 p.m.
