- Operate equipment such as CNC machines, milling machines, and end mills to produce manufactured parts primarily out of aluminum and titanium.
- Take measurements to adequately ensure the accurate set‑up, with the use of tools such as gauges, calipers, indicators and micrometers.
- Maintain specifications by observing drilling and cutting; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Set up and troubleshoot 5‑axis machines for large complex parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Certification from an accredited technical college is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible milling experience; aerospace industry experience is a plus.
- Possess basic math and geometry knowledge; elementary engineering principles helpful.
- Be able to read blueprints, follow work orders and verbal instructions.
Manufacturing environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust, grime and heat. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
