PURPOSE OF POSITIONTo manage, books venues, coordinate staff and operate special projects and events allocated by Goodwill i.e. Consignment events, Estate Sales, Bluetique events, DYI events, review and collect Designer items and E-Comm items within Retail Stores. Train store personnel on merchandise selection for all special events. Locate Designer and E-Comm specific items within Retail Stores. To fulfill Goodwill's mission statement.
SUPERVISION RECEIVEDWorks under the general supervision of the District Manager and Vice President of Operations.
SUPERVISION EXERCISEDSupervises workers in various personnel groups engaged in operating Special Events.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION- High school diploma or the equivalent required with two plus years of upper management experience required.
- A valid driver’s license and insurability is required.
- Personable and able to present a high level of professionalism within all levels of Business and contacts within and outside of the Goodwill Agency.
- Possesses full knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting to maintain sales records and reports incidental to store and production operations.
- Possesses excellent character references and a well-developed sense of responsibility.

JOB COMPETENCIESOversees Consignment events, Bluetique events, DYI events, Estate Sales, Designer Consignment website and E-Comm items. Locates Designer and E-Comm items that were sent to the warehouse. Operations including inventory, warehouse and stock rotation. Performs all administrative and clerical details associated with the projects operation and orders supplies as needed. Provides supervision for all employees working events, trains employees and follows cash handling procedures.
Travels to other Goodwill Locations as needed to assist in training. Travels to locations for events. Serves as hiring manager. Completes employee work schedules, evaluations, ADP and handles customer complaints.
- Supervises special projects and events allocated by Goodwill.
- Coordinate staff and operate special projects and events allocated by Goodwill i.e. Consignment sales, Estate Sales, Bluetique events, DYI events, merchandise selection of Designer Consignment and E-Comm items.
- Receives and checks incoming stock for Consignment, Bluetique, Designer Consignment and Estate Sales. Supervises checkouts and stock transfers. Checks condition and placement of stock in a clean, neat, and orderly condition. Rotates stock and marks down prices in accordance with operating procedure. Suggests and maintains displays and advertising ideas and prepares and places signs in sales areas and windows.
