Overview
Medxcel is a leading provider of healthcare facilities management services. As Manager Facilities, you will give daily direction to staff to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational goals, and(columns) support the transformation of healthcare facilities management. You will oversee operations, health and safety compliance, and serve as the key point of contact for associates, vendors and customers.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic and operational policies and plans.
- Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, budgeting, safety audits, and training in the Facilities Management department.
- Manage building operations, maintenance, inventories, utility and energy management, and grounds maintenance.
- Lead major infrastructure repair and renovation projects, including vendor selection, bid process, contract compliance and臆 performance oversight.
- Liaise for remodeling, renovation and construction projects concerning product standards, design standards, scheduling shutdowns and system interruptions.
- Communicate with customers, vendors and internal partners on status and issues affecting services.
- Review and authorize purchase requests, ensuring compliance with service agreements and budgets.
- Collaborate with Administration, Purchasing and related partners on major equipment or system specifications.
- Maintain external relations with government and regulatory agencies, Joint Commission, insurance carriers and others.
- Ensure that facilities are maintained, secured, renovated and constructed according to policies and initiatives.
- Assist with departmental budget development, including capital, operating and construction budgets.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and Joint Commission standards.
- Collect, compile and audit regulatory compliance documentation.
- Direct daily work assignments to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
- Serve as a change agent throughout the organization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Implement efficiency improvements.
- Lead and guide staff to achieve optimal performance and operational excellence.
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage for safe and efficient plant operations.
- Manage staffing, performance evaluation, training activities, and capacity planning.
- Represent the company with internal and external customers and set the example for exceptional customer service.
- Drive service excellence in daily operations and customer interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent – required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related field – preferred.
- Six years’ experience in maintenance and operations or facilities management of a physical plant and/or building maintenance for a large facility – required.
- Knowledge and experience with Joint Commission, NFPA, state and federal regulations for kualitas healthcare facilities – required.
- Three years’ experience in a large, multi‑campus healthcare system – preferred.
- Three years’ supervisory experience – preferred.
- Computer skills:
Proficiency inhetical MS Office and web‑based work order systems. - Knowledge of plant operations systems.
- Problem‑solving:
Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently. - Quality management:
Focus on improving and promoting quality and accuracy. - Planning/organizing:
Ability to prioritize and develop realistic action plans. - Adaptability:
