Maintenance Assistant

Our company is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient work environment, responding promptly to shop needs, and performing routine maintenance tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. • Perform preventive maintenance procedures on various machines and equipment
• Ensure safe and secure handling of scrap materials
• Assist maintenance personnel to ensure optimal machine function
• Manage cleaning and maintenance of machine/equipment lubrication and coolant duties
  
  Comply with company safety rules
• Perform other job-related duties as requested

• Ability to multitask and maintain focus on the task at hand
• Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
• Professional demeanor and confident communication skills
• Comfortable lifting 25 to 50 pounds as part of job duties
• Experience with customer service tasks and phone communication
• Experience running a variety of machines is a plus
