DescriptionThe Crewperson is responsible for servicing and maintaining low voltage systems, including WAN/LAN, CCTV, cameras, DVRs, Napco security systems, access control systems, and computer hardware repairs. The role involves new installations and major system renovations as dictated by capital improvement projects.
Employee Punctuality and Appearance- Employees are expected to perform all assigned duties and work all scheduled hours unless approved leave is received.
- Any deviation from assigned hours must have prior approval from supervisor or building administrator.
- Employees must report to work dressed to reflect a positive image of USD 259 and appropriate for their position.
Assist with additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
TravelTravel between schools and central offices is required.
Physical and Mental Demands- Perform all tasks and work required hours.
- Work indoors in extreme heat and cold and outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
- Wear proper safety equipment as required while performing duties.
- Overtime on short notice may be required.
- Work in standard office, shop, and school building environments.
- Work in confined or high spaces; some strenuous physical work.
- Work productively in stressful situations.
- Daily schedule may fluctuate to accommodate deadlines and delivery of services.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with others inside and outside the organization.
- Communicate effectively with a supervisor when discretion is needed.

- Willingness to be trained in all phases of assignments to qualify for advancement.

- Maintain valid Kansas driver’s license throughout employment.
