Spirit Defense - Associate Accounting - General

Overview

This role is at Spirit Aero Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, at Spirit's Defense Business Unit ("Spirit Defense"). Spirit Defense is an independent supplier to the defense and space marketplace. Location:
Wichita, KS (On-site)

• Maintains company book of accounts by preparing, collecting, and analyzing accounting data to communicate financial information to company organizations and external customers
• Provides financial guidance and recommendations to management, customers, and employees
• Ensures compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards
• Develops and implements new accounting methods and processes, as well as improvements to automated accounting systems
• Identifies and resolves complex financial issues

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Math, or related field
• 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of related experience with a Master's Degree
• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
• Successful candidates must be able to secure Program access approval

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $55,550 - $85,150

Kansas Tax Credit: Join Spirit Aero Systems' Kansas team and you may be eligible for a $5,000 state of Kansas Aviation tax credit for up to five years.  for more information on the tax credit.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
