Network Administrator – Juniper

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Juniper SRX firewalls, including policy design, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring, managing, and resolving issues with Juniper SRX firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPN, and traffic analysis.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and address network connectivity challenges, firewall rule discrepancies, and security policy violations.
• Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, and VRRP.
• Knowledgeable in Juniper switching and familiar with managing and diagnosing network switch environments.
• Understanding of fundamental routing and switching principles.
• Familiarity with Aruba switching and wireless technologies.
• Preferred:
  Experience in an IT service organization.
• Comfortable using incident management tools.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices.
• Relevant certification in Juniper or Aruba technologies.

• Configure and maintain Juniper SRX firewalls to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Develop and implement security policies, NAT, VPN configurations, and traffic inspection measures.
• Address and resolve network connectivity problems and conflicts in firewall rules.
• Ensure compliance with security policy regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with team members to manage and troubleshoot network switch environments.
• Conduct routine assessments of network performance and address any anomalies.
• Provide support and guidance regarding routing and switching protocols.
• Assist in training team members on best practices for network management.
• Stay updated with trends in networking technologies and implement improvements where necessary.
