Job StoryEnnovar is looking for a Software Engineer Student Assistant to work at Textron Aviation.
Job SummaryA student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
Job Duties- Fulfill ticket and access requests from Service Now.
- Document fixes in the Knowledge Base using Markdown to improve self-service resources.
- Assist in cleaning up Git repositories and organizing .NET source code.
- Automate fixes for repeat IT tickets.
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications- Work up to 20 hours/week.
- Textron Aviation defined holidays, as listed in Schedule A, will be recognized and will not be worked by Ennovar Students. Any exceptions to Schedule A will be mutually agreed upon by Textron Aviation and Ennovar Leadership Teams.
- Students would be expected to know some of the following languages, but are not limited to just these: C#, C++, Visual Basic, Jscript, ASP.net. Other languages are a plus (such as Java) and will only help in understanding the development life cycle.
- Textron is responsible for all equipment located at Textron.
- Work must be performed on-site.
- If required, TAI will provide a secure VPN connection for any off-site work that has been authorized.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, including but not limited to phones, printers, copiers, and calculators.
- Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
