About our HR Team

The HR team helps employers run a successful business by advising on the best decisions for their employees and companies. If you’re motivated by finding solutions, unraveling complexities and helping people directly—and seeing the positive results firsthand—this team may be a good fit for you!

The HR team works directly with clients and employees, providing guidance on employee handbook policy interpretation, employment law, employee relations, investigations and employee complaints. This team works together to provide customized client service solutions from onboarding through the entire employee lifecycle.

HR Business Partner Responsibilities

HR Business Partner Job

Responsibilities include:

  • Provides full-service HR support to assigned clients.
  • Consults with clients, provides guidance and facilitates service focusing on liability management.
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource functions and ensures client’s policies and procedures are in compliance.
  • Maintains data in various HRIS systems to include Prism

    HR, Client Space and other client specific programs/systems.
  • Answers basic and complex HR inquiries from clients and employees.
  • Develops and/or oversees development of a variety of customized HR forms and documents including handbooks, new hire paperwork and corrective action forms.
  • Manages new client onboarding processes.
  • Consults with clients on complex HR issues, to include handling employee complaints, investigations, and terminations.
  • Conducts layoff analysis, provide overview and recommendations to client.
  • Conducts wage analysis and review position trends.
  • Manages unemployment process for the client to include collecting information for the claim and participating in hearings as needed.
  • Manages client leave policies; ensuring necessary paperwork is provided & received by the employees.
  • Coordinates with other Syndeo internal departments for client needs;
    Directs employee/client inquires to the appropriate department as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 3 – 5 years of related work experience
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or ability to complete certifications within 3 years of hire
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid drivers license with favorable driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to prioritize work from multiple clients in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to demonstrate consistent follow-through and follow-up
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
