Overview

As a Physician Assistant, you ll carry out a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for Soldiers and their families. You will perform comprehensive exams and prescribe medications, counsel patients, obtain medical histories, interpret lab tests and x-ray results.

• Reserve (Part-Time)
• Loan Repayment: $60,000 in student loan repayment in $20,000 annual payments to qualifying federal student loans paid directly to the lending institution through the Reserve Component Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (RCHPLRP).
• Sign-on Bonus: $25,000 yearly signing bonus for 3 years of service.
• Incentive Pay: $5,000 paid annually for each successful year of service. $8,000 additional annual bonus as long as board certification maintained.

• Certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• State licensure (any U.S. State)
• Be within acceptable age (under 50) and physical requirements for military service.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.
• U.S. citizenship.
