Job Description:

The role involves working as a Telemetry RN focused on Med-Surg/PCU. The RN will be responsible for providing patient-centered, critical care with a focus on teamwork and engagement, utilizing a variety of equipment such as chest tubes and IV pumps, and documenting using Meditech.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on experiential knowledge and established guidelines.
• Administer medication drips and manage central lines.
• Prepare patients for heart cath recovery.
• Participate in unit staffing and adhere to a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4.
• Float to other units as needed.

Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with medication drips, central lines, and heart cath recovery is needed.
