Job Responsibilities- Hands‑on position working on multiple campuses with children and adults with substance abuse and/or mental health diagnosis.
- Monitoring patient and campus safety, overseeing medication times on residential campuses, transporting patients short and long distances, and facilitating recreation and leisure groups.
- Ensuring the safety of our target population and promoting quality care for all patients.
- Position may be scheduled to work on the Adult Crisis Unit, Children’s Crisis Unit, Addiction Receiving Facility, Adult Detox unit, or Transitional Living Campus (adult residential).
- High School diploma/equivalent required.
- One (1) year direct‑care experience in a behavioral health, human services, corrections, mental health or related field preferred.
- OR completion of the equivalent of 30 semester/credit hours toward an undergraduate degree in health, behavioral health, human services or a related field.
- General knowledge of co‑occurring disorders to best serve both target populations (substance abuse and mental health preferred).
- Comfortable working with children and adults and able to use verbal and physical interventions (as a last resort) to manage aggression.
- For residential setting employment, a valid Florida driver’s license with a good driving record and current auto insurance is required.
