Role OverviewAs a Customer Service Representative, you’ll work to help our patients check into the hospital. It’s fast‑paced on occasion and you’ll be the person they rely on to answer questions during registration. You’ll build trust in these interactions by collecting information accurately and quickly while listening with compassion.
Key Responsibilities- Work on computers and answer phones to intake information in a busy environment, typing as quickly as patients can talk and working around clinicians interrupting the registration process for emergent clinical care.
- Help patients who may be very ill or worried, listening carefully to ease their anxiety and building rapport in real time.
- Operate in a fast‑paced work environment often on your feet, collecting patient and insurance information that requires knowledge through training and expecting the unexpected.
- Collaborate with a team that cares about your progress toward career goals, launching your healthcare career at R1 RCM Inc.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent customer service experience
For this US‑based position, the base pay range is $14.00 - $18.99 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
