We are seeking an Intake Specialist for the Centralized Receiving Facility – Colonial Campus. This role serves as the initial point of contact for individuals entering the Acute Care department and requires a professional and compassionate approach to care.

• Serve as the initial contact for individuals entering the Acute Care department
• Provide professional and compassionate treatment to all clients
• Maintain safety at all times
• Transport patients from Central Receiving to the appropriate facility
• Operate as part of the team and communicate in a clear, calm, and positive manner with all stakeholders

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Prefer one year of direct‑care experience in behavioral health, human services, corrections, mental health, or a related field
• Or the successful completion of the equivalent of 30 semester/credit hours toward an undergraduate degree in health, behavioral health, human services, or a related field (not required)
• Must attain competency with the company electronic health record and use it effectively within required time frames
