Job Details
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
- Must be AHA certified for BLS and ACLS.
- Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter.
- Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start, updated yearly.
- Completion of Ascension EKG Exam prior to start.
- Completion of CPI/MOAB High Risk Online Portion prior to start.
- Documentation of required vaccinations and health statements including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing.
- Driver's License/State .
- Ascension Skills Checklist clinical competency within one year of start, updated annually.
- Background checks and verifications including criminal background, EPLS, education, employment, and assignment confirmation.
Job Requirements
- Contract length is 13 weeks.
Schedule Information
- Cardiac intensive care unit (ICU) specialty.
Unit Specific Information
- Cerner test results and Training Checklist with signed attestation required.
- Must complete HIPAA, Joint Commission
-NPSG, OSHA Topics training with minimum 80% score. - Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation and Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding required.
- Fit Test required annually, preferred prior to start.
- Ascension Unit Specific Checklist optional but needs to be uploaded by unit leader within a week.
