PRN position available. Weekdays only, no weekends or holidays. Typical shift is 6:30-1700.

Responsibilities
  • This position assists in the treatment and care of patients in the Operating Room under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Provides assistance to the Operating Room staff by scrubbing in for surgical procedures in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
  • This responsibility includes the preparation, assembly and organization of the environment, equipment and supplies necessary to perform the surgical procedure scheduled.
Qualifications
  • One year minimum operating room experience required; an emphasis in orthopedics highly desired.
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or formal training as an O.R. Technician with a minimum of one-year experience. Preferably certified as a surgical technologist. Current BLS certification.
