Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Work independently with strong problem-solving skills required

• Perform CT scans on primarily adult emergency department patients with some pediatric scans possible

• Handle adult inpatients as ordered

• Operate Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT scanner

• Must be able to back up X-ray technologist when they are in the operating room

• Perform mixture of CT head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis scans

• Conduct CTA chest, neck, abdomen studies and occasional CTA cardiac studies

• Perform CT lumbar/thoracic spine and CT head stroke protocol procedures

• Work in environment that can vary from busy to slow based on emergency department patient load

• KSBHA license required

• 2-3+ years of CT experience preferred

• Siemens scanner experience preferred

• Black scrubs required (not provided)

• Use Meditech EMR and FUJI Synapse PACS systems
