Step into a rewarding role as a Rural Generalist Occupational Therapist with the Limestone Coast Local Health Network. This temporary full‑time position offers the opportunity to deliver diverse, person‑centred OT services across a wide range of settings, including hospital, community, aged care, paediatrics, and disability services. Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced Occupational Therapist, we encourage you to apply!

Based in the beautiful Limestone Coast region, this role offers flexibility to work from Mount Gambier or surrounding towns – including Bordertown, Kingston, Lucindale, Millicent, Naracoorte, and Penola – by negotiation. Our team is well‑equipped with modern technology and telehealth infrastructure.

This role offers exposure to a broad scope of practice, the chance to consolidate your skills, and opportunities to develop leadership, networking, and professional capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive OT services across hospital, community, and care settings.

  • Provide guidance and support to students, allied health assistants, and less experienced clinicians.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other service providers to ensure integrated, holistic care.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Occupational Therapist (AHP1/AHP2) with relevant registration and experience.
  • Skilled in delivering diverse OT services in hospital, community, and paediatric settings.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise professional judgement, and contribute to team development.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and passionate about supporting regional communities.

Why Join Us?

  • Job security and financial incentives, superannuation, leave loading, and potential salary sacrifice benefits.
  • Relocation reimbursement of up to $13,000 for eligible candidates.
  • Work/life balance with local sporting clubs and activities.
  • Supported clinical supervision and professional development, including a New Graduate Support Program.
  • Employee Assistance Program with confidential counselling and support services.
  • Regional incentives may apply, subject to terms.

Final date to receive applications: 26 January 2026, 11:55PM
