We are seeking a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist to support our cardiac surgery team at Wesley Medical Center, a member of the Wesley Healthcare network and part of HCA Healthcare.

As a Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist, you will assist during cardiac surgical procedures, maintain aseptic technique, set up equipment and sterile supplies, pull cases as needed, and break down cases at the end of the procedure. You will work with a highly skilled team, use the latest surgical equipment, and have predictable scheduling with support for on‑call coverage.

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assist during surgical procedures in the cardiology department.
• Use aseptic technique, set up required equipment and sterile supplies for assigned cases, pull cases as needed, and break down cases at the end of the procedure.
• Identify instrumentation, equipment and supply needs for all types of cardiac surgical procedures.
• Perform delegated duties consistent with your scope of practice and functions within the overall plan of care delivery.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course, as specified in policy.
• Entry level to one year of experience as a Surgery Technician.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA is preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Operating Room Technicians is preferred.
