Be a part of Wichita's largest pediatric therapy outpatient clinic! We are looking for an exceptional Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our award-winning team and make a life-changing difference with our children and their families.

Thera Play Spot is Wichita, Kansas's largest pediatric outpatient clinic located in the Heartland of America. Our sensory-focused clinic features a forest-themed waiting room with a playful work atmosphere while maintaining excellence in our therapy services. Our therapists primarily have individual treatment rooms and have easy access to two abundantly equipped sensory therapy gyms. We're big enough and have been around long enough to establish our culture and procedures.

Yet we're small enough to feel like an integrated work family. Our team of 27 OT's, COTA's, PT's, SLP's and office staff loves what we do, and we have FUN together both in and out of the clinic! We are passionate about helping children and their families, as well as giving back to the community.

• $42 to $54 per billable hour, depending on years of pediatric OT experience

What you'd do at Thera Play Spot:

• Evaluate children from infants through teens with a variety of diagnoses using standardized tests, clinical observation and parent interview & collaboration
• Create individual POC's with achievable and meaningful goals
• Treat children through playful and highly beneficial sessions
• Adapt therapy to each child's needs to achieve successful results
• Empower and coach parents for the home carryover and buy-in to the therapy process
• Communicate mindfully and effectively with children, families, and co-workers
• Complete timely and accurate documentation
• Attend and participate in regular staff meetings, presentations, and in-services

One full-time employee or two part-time employees

Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision (unless participating in the Mentorship Program)
