Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This is a Contract to permanent position offering the opportunity to contribute to a variety of essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable processes, including routing invoices, verifying statements, and entering data accurately.

- Handle accounts receivable tasks such as cash application and deposit management.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between accounts payable and the general ledger.

- Oversee payroll processes, including timekeeping and commission calculations, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Maintain and update spreadsheets to track commission-based earnings for technical staff.

- Ensure compliance with financial procedures and reporting standards.

- Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.

- Generate financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.

- Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting financial needs.

- Support audit and review processes by maintaining organized and accessible records. Requirements - Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

- Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

- Strong skills in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.

- Familiarity with automated payroll systems and processes, including commission calculations.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient in spreadsheet management and financial reporting tools.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
