Loan Servicing & Documentation Specialist

Lewis James Professional is a woman-owned staff augmentation, project consulting and direct hire search and placement firm. We are currently seeking a Loan Servicing & Documentation Specialist for a contract opportunity with a financial services client.

• Prepare and review loan documents for renewals, extensions, and modifications using Laser Pro or similar systems
• Review loan packages for completeness and accuracy
• Support post-close documentation cleanup resulting from recent data conversions
• Book loans in proper system
• Verify accurate setup of interest rates (fixed and variable), payment schedules, and variable rate parameters and coding
• Perform post-closing servicing and booking validation
• Ensure accurate transfer and reflection of prior loan terms for renewals
• Conduct quality reviews of booked loans using existing checklists
• Perform sampling reviews to confirm correct rate setup, accurate payment schedules, and proper exception tracking
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrections

• Experience in loan documentation, booking, or loan operations within a banking environment
• Hands‑on experience with Fiserv Precision (strongly preferred) or Premier
• Experience using Laser Pro or similar loan documentation systems
• Strong understanding of loan renewals and extensions, post‑close review processes, tickler and covenant tracking, and variable rate loan setups
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, post‑merger environment
• Multi‑core experience (Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry, etc.) preferred
• Prior experience supporting merger‑related data conversions or post‑conversion cleanup preferred
• Familiarity with quality control sampling methodologies
