Payments Specialist ( ACH Wires )

• Detail oriented: see what is there, see what is missing, research
• Excellent, detailed, accurate, and communicative, thorough writing skills in English. Other languages might be helpful, but not necessary.
• Ability to use the processes for a locally regulated, fast moving transactions financial institution
• AML and fraud and KYC understanding: catch the red or yellow flags
• Assist departments in implementing processes necessary to comply with regulations
• Ability to pay attention to detail while examining large amounts of transactions
• EPCOR training helpful
• AAP or APRP
• Coordinating and assisting in the administration of the independent, state, and federal regulator and auditor examinations and reviews
• Process and verify transactions
• ACH Merchant Settlements
• Make recommendations to the senior management when and where appropriate
• Reach out to appropriate investigative bodies as needed
• Maintains proficient knowledge of the rules and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USAPatriot Act, and OFAC
• Works with operations units to investigate transactions that are suspicious in nature
