Commercial Lender – Wichita, KS
Reports To:
Kansas Regional President
Status:

- Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial, real estate, and consumer loans
- Develop new business through proactive calling, networking, and community involvement
- Analyze and structure loans consistent with bank policy and lending limits
- Evaluate credit risk and prepare credit memorandums for approval
- Service existing customers and maintain strong client relationships
- Refer and cross-sell deposit, treasury, and additional banking services
- Actively participate in the bank’s Business Development Program
- Monitor loan performance, collateral, and exceptions for your portfolio
- Participate in Loan Committees and other internal committees as assigned
- Maintain compliance with banking laws, regulations, and policy
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics preferred
- Advanced banking education or equivalent experience accepted
- Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in banking or commercial lending
- Proven track record in credit analysis, loan structuring, and relationship management
- Skills &

- Customer service and business development mindset
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Fiserv Precision
- Leadership presence, relationship-builder, and community engagement focus
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel locally for client and community engagement
- Office-based role with frequent client visits and community interaction
- Minimal physical demands (occasional lifting up to 50 lbs)
Compensation:
$150,000 per year
