Commercial Lender – Wichita, KS

Kansas Regional President

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of commercial, real estate, and consumer loans
  • Develop new business through proactive calling, networking, and community involvement
  • Analyze and structure loans consistent with bank policy and lending limits
  • Evaluate credit risk and prepare credit memorandums for approval
  • Service existing customers and maintain strong client relationships
  • Refer and cross-sell deposit, treasury, and additional banking services
  • Actively participate in the bank’s Business Development Program
  • Monitor loan performance, collateral, and exceptions for your portfolio
  • Participate in Loan Committees and other internal committees as assigned
  • Maintain compliance with banking laws, regulations, and policy
What Makes You a Strong Candidate
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics preferred
    • Advanced banking education or equivalent experience accepted
  • Experience:
    • 5–10 years of experience in banking or commercial lending
    • Proven track record in credit analysis, loan structuring, and relationship management

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Customer service and business development mindset
    • Solid problem-solving and decision-making ability
    • Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Fiserv Precision
    • Leadership presence, relationship-builder, and community engagement focus
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Ability to travel locally for client and community engagement
Environment
  • Office-based role with frequent client visits and community interaction
  • Minimal physical demands (occasional lifting up to 50 lbs)

Compensation:
$150,000 per year
